The Science of Meditation

To explore exactly what part of the brain meditation acts on, researchers at Harvard Medical School used MRI technology on participants to monitor brain activity while they meditated. They found that it activates the sections of the brain in charge of the autonomic nervous system, which governs the functions in our bodies that we can't control, such as digestion and blood pressure. These are also the functions that are often compromised by stress. It makes sense, then, that modulating these functions would help to ward off stress-related conditions such as heart disease, digestive problems and infertility.

GCI February 2011 Full Moon Synchronized Care Focus‏

As a member of The Global Coherence Initiative, I receive emails like this from time to time:

Welcome to GCI’s February 18th full moon synchronized Care Focus. In order for GCI members around the world to participate at a convenient time, we have chosen noon, 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. Pacific Standard Time ( -8 hours GMT ) when GCI members in the Global Care Room can do the Care Focus together.

For this synchronized full moon Care Focus, we will continue sending heart-focused care to the people of Egypt and the Mid-East during this time of great change.

The people of Egypt have joined together to create changes that potentially will cascade to other countries in the Mid-East. It’s important to continue sending heart energy to Egypt and the Mid-East, so that this process remains peaceful with the best outcome for the whole. The heart is what empowers co-creation for the benefit of all. Let’s radiate gratitude for the peace thus far.

We’ll do this Care Focus together for fifteen minutes. It’s really okay to stop sooner or continue longer if you choose. There will be music playing or you can mute the music if you prefer.

Care Focus – Let’s create a heart-field environment of unconditional love around Egypt and other Mid-East countries in the world for the highest best outcome for all involved. Let’s keep up a momentum of outgoing care and use your own heart discernment on how long and when you participate. Also, remember to send your heart-focused care to other stressful situations taking place throughout the world.

(After 15 minutes)

Doing the GCI Care Focus with others helps to amplify our coherent heart energy and collective intent.

Thank you for your participation.

Scientific Evidence of ESP

One of psychology’s most respected journals has agreed to publish a paper presenting what its author describes as strong evidence for extrasensory perception, the ability to sense future events...

Neuro Electric Therapy for Addiction

Medicine using electrostimulation is arguably a more benign intervention than pharmacology, and recent progress in the treatment of Parkinson’s and other conditions using such stimulation is establishing a record of both safety and efficacy in tens of thousands of patients in this decade alone. In its different forms, electrostimulation includes acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, deep brain stimulation and various applications of cranial electrostimulation. This paper describes the background, treatment process, outcomes and ongoing research arising from perhaps the best known application of cranial electrostimulation for addiction, that of the late Dr Meg Patterson’s NeuroElectric Therapy (NET™), a treatment distinguished by its clinical record in treating a wide variety of drugs of dependency, and clinically potent enough to do so rapidly and without supportive or replacement pharmacology.

Human Energy Fields

Frontier scientists around the globe have discovered evidence of the existence of a quantum energy field. The field may not only explain homoeopathy, but may be the main force we have to tap in order to heal.

Fritz-Albert Popp thought he had discovered a cure for cancer. It was 1970, and Popp, a theoretical biophysicist at the University of Marburg in Germany, had been teaching radiology - the interaction of electromagnetic (EM) radiation on biological systems. He’d been examining benzo[a]pyrene, a polycyclic hydrocarbon known to be one of the most lethal carcinogens to humans, and had illuminated it with ultraviolet (UV) light.

Popp played around with light a lot. He’d long been fascinated by the effect of EM radiation on living systems, and had been trying to determine the effects of ‘exciting’ this deadly compound with UV light.
